Hughes Sub Surface Engineering are pleased to announce that Managing Director, Ian Hughes and several members of the Hughes SSE team shall be attending the RenewableUK Global Offshore wind 2014 event in Glasgow. Hughes SSE this week secured a stand for the annual show.
The UK’s installed offshore wind capacity is greater than the rest of the world’s combined, and we have an active, well established, local offshore wind industry, complemented by strong involvement from key international players. (See more at RenewableUK).
The event itself boasts more than 200+ companies and 3500+ individuals over a two day stretch, presenting a unique opportunity for networking and sharing of unique ideas.
Earlier this year, Emergency Response Team Leader Phil Keating attended the RenewableUK Health and Safety event in Birmingham. Phil was asked to speak under the heading of “Medical and Occupational Health”; with the presentation: Emergency Management and Medical Care: “A New Approach” (See more at: RenewableUK). Phil spoke about the success of Hughes SSE’s Emergency Response Team and the importance of Offshore Emergency Medical Support for ongoing and future developments.
